Full-time M1-M3 EP Science Teacher

We are seeking a qualified, native English-speaking science teacher for our English Program to begin as soon as possible.

Bunyawat Witthayalai School is located in the beautiful city of Lampang in the North approx.100km south of Chiang Mai. Lampang is a very pleasant place to live without the traffic problems and pollution that larger cities like Chiang Mai and Bangkok suffer from.

At M1-M3 level students are learning the basics of earth science, biology, chemistry and physics. We are seeking an individual who truly loves teaching and has a desire to stay in Thailand for an extended period of time. A minimum of a one-year (renewable) contract is required and a qualified applicant must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a science related discipline and classroom teaching experience. A TEFL certificate is a plus but not required although we do prefer individuals with experience teaching in Thailand.

All of our classrooms are air conditioned and the dress code here is quite casual (Most of the time a tie is unnecessary). Class sizes are about 25 students and the work hours are from 8:00am - 4:30pm. The teaching schedule will require approx. 15 classroom hours per week. The salary is 30,000/month and includes a visa and work permit (paid for by the school).
