Full Time Native English Teacher to teach at a school within walking distance of Sam Yan MRT Station.
Full time English Teachers (ESL)
The School: The locations of our schools are in downtown Bangkok, (or easily accessible from downtown.) The schools are your average Thai school, at some you may be asked to sit in the room with the students (as homeroom teachers) and at other there will be a room and teachers desk where you can prepare for your class.
There is an average of 25 - 35 students in a class and some schools have 45-50 students in class at junior high school level.
The students can speak beginner - pre-intermediate level (depending on the course).
Working Hours: Working hours is from 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Teaching hours: Teaching hours is 24 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Native English speaker from USA, UK, Canadian, NZ or Australia
- Bachelor's degree or higher (priority will be given to teachers with a degree in Education)
- TEFL/TESOL certificate
- 1-2 years experience in teaching preferable
- Applicants must be prepared for long term stay (minimum 1 year stay)
- Enthusiasm/Charisma - able to motivate and encourage students
- Adaptable, flexible, and friendly at work
- Easily adjustable to new circumstances, able to live and survive in a new country.
