Varee Chiang Mai International School is seeking a support worker for a 7 year old child on the autistic spectrum. The successful candidate will work with the child in his classroom to enable him to access the British Year 2 curriculum by helping him to focus on and complete tasks set by the class teacher. The person appointed will also supervise the child at break times and lunch times.

The successful candidate will be employed by the parents but will work under the direction of the School Principal and Head of Primary.

The person we are looking for must be educated to degree level, ideally in an educational or child care field and be able to speak English to a good standard (a TOEIC certificate demonstrating this, is required). There is no requirement to speak Thai and this position may suit an ASEAN national.

Experience of working with children with developmental differences is highly desirable, though not essential.

The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible but by January 6th 2020 at the latest.

We are offering:-
Salary of 20,000 Baht over the 11 months of the contract

Support in obtaining a visa and work permit
