Full-Time Communication Trainer Position at a Hua Hin Resort

- Identify English training needs across the resort
- Select and prepare appropriate materials
- Deliver classes between beginner and intermediate levels
- Ensure classes are taught in an enjoyable, interactive and results-driven way
- Provide other communication training solutions, e.g., one-to-one coaching and specialist classes/courses
- Assess individual student progress
- Promote the development of English skills within the resort
- Give proofreading support when requested
- Assess potential employee’s English skills
- Support the production of the quarterly staff newsletter
- Assist the training section where necessary
- Be responsible for all required administration
The ideal candidate is detailed below:
- Native speaker
- 25-40
- Formal teaching qualification, e.g., CELTA or TEFL
- At least two years’ teaching experience, preferably at adult and/or corporate level
- Experience in specialised areas, e.g., Business English, emails and customer service
- Experience in assessing student needs, developing curriculum and testing
- High level knowledge of all areas of the English language, e.g., grammar, style and writing
- Work experience in a service-based field, e.g., hospitality and health
- Good planning and time management skills
- Excellent human relations
- High level of attention to detail
- Flexible
- Good command of MS Office
