We are seeking an individual who will be a private support assistant to our son, who is a special needs child. This person will attend Y1 class at an international school with him daily.
• Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in the Education/ Special Education/ Psychology field
• Fluent English speaker
• Experienced in working with children
• Flexible, patient and caring by nature
• Learning support experienced
• Experience working in a school and developing IEP

You will be required to work alongside the child in the classroom
The aim being to support the child by:
• keeping the child focused
• keeping the child at any activity/station
• trying to engage the child in social interaction
• trying to encourage independent participation
• repeating instructions so the child understands
• promoting responses from the child
• increasing access to academic learning

After school lessons: You have to follow up academic lessons and other essential skills with him after school hours.

This is a full-time Monday-Friday (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) job. Starting salary will be 18000 for applicants with great experience.
